OK...now to shock everybody...I voted for
Dennis Kucinich in SC.

I am still a John Kerry supporter 100% and I am a Dennis Kucinich supporter 100%.

Kerry is doing so well, that I felt very comfortable voting for Dennis and feel no conflict whatsoever. Those of you who are more familiar with me know that Dennis was the first politician I ever volunteered for as a schoolgirl in 72. He is a big part of why I am a liberal today.

I am also rooting for Edwards and Clark to do well today because I want the GOP to FEAR us Dems and the strength of our candidates.

1. Hope for your sake that Kerry doesn't lose by one vote
Edwards seems to be doing pretty well there.

Anyway, Thanks for sharing. DK is a great man.

36. My heart is FOR both of them.
I have never been happier to have two great longtime progressives to represent me.

The Special Ks...Kerry and Kucinich.

:loveya:

blm you are one of the best posters on here, and I always enjoy reading what you have to say. Just wanted to make it clear that I liked you fine before this, this is just icing on the cake! And this isn't just for the Kucinich vote, but also what you said about Edwards, Clark, and inspiring FEAR in the GOP!

7. I thought Kucinich and Edwards..
had some kind of an alliance.

Kucinich could throw his delegatees to Edwards. Doesn't look like he would throw them to Kerry.

12. Dennis is closer to the Kerry camp than many realize.
They are more alike than people can readily see.

Trace their 35 year records and you see two men who are very much alike.

That was a one-time bargain for IA delegates only.

25. how many times must we go over this?
It was a one time deal to help with the Iowa caucases.

Gephardt and Kerry had the same deal but nobody brings that up 2 weeks later

8. Well, thank God for small favors
Imagine what would happen if everybody voted their conscience. Maybe we could overcome the vast majority of Republicans and the minority of Democrats who don't have one.

I really want to see Dennis do well.

Thanks for voting for DK! I know it was probably a tough choice for you because you support both JK and DK equally, but ANY vote for DK right now helps send a message that, even if he doesn't get the nom, we liberals and progressives WILL BE HEARD!

11. good for you.. this is the Primary after all..
I think right now we need to vote our hearts.. We can't end up with a crummy nominee, we have great candidates right now. You can't go wrong voting with your heart. I'm afraid the Democratic Party is forcing a NBK attitude right now,and it's ridiculous. Let the process work... let ALL states have their say.

If Kerry doesn't win that state.. it's not a big deal. It's the general election I have my eye on... everythingelse with sort itself out soon.

28. I'm not.
I am a pragmatic progressive who realizes that John Kerry has the BEST liberal and progressive record of any of the major candidates vying for the presidency, in spite of the smears dished out at him on this board.

People cannot negate the issues I have paid attention to all my adult life wherein John Kerry was right there supporting those issues near and dear to my heart such as labor laws, the environment, and the like.

They can't change what we KNOW and have lived through over the last three decades.

Kerry and Kucinich are GREAT liberals.

I learned a lot about both Kucinich and Kerry from you. They are very much alike and I will not be unhappy to cast a vote in the GE for Kerry. Thank you for your vote for Dennis Kucinich. This thread is a pleasure after all the "drop out DK" threads these last few days. To all of you who frequent DK posts with love and encouragement, you keep me alive on some days when I am discouraged and remind me that his candidacy is all about issues and influence on the powers that be, or will be. He is truly my champion.
