Bush Suspends Environment Regulations for Oil Companies
Edited on Tue Apr-25-06 01:57 PM by AtomicKitten
Big win for Oil Companies -- Bush suspends enviro. regs.
http://americablog.blogspot.com/

Bonanzas for the oil industry all around. They get outrageous profits and, thanks to their President, a big break on environmental controls:

President Bush on Tuesday ordered a temporary suspension of environmental rules for gasoline, making it easier for refiners to meet demand and possibly dampen prices at the pump.

And you want to bet removing those environmental rules means even more profit? What a racket.

2. This assuring even bigger profits for BIG OIL..........
the price of gasoline is too high so rather than promoting conservation, raising CAFE standards, taxing windfall profits, or anything else that is a POSITIVE step in the right direction, he'll lower the environmental regs thus assuring higher profits and more pollution.

Yep, that's a george bush decision alright! "The Decider" has decided, wrong once again, but he's decided nevertheless. :grr:
