4. I think Clark/Kerry or Kerry/Clark
would make for a damned near unbeatable ticket!

12. Yep
But Kerry/Clark won't happen. Kerry wouldn't ask Clark to be his VP, and Clark wouldn't say yes. Kerry will pick Eliot Spitzer, who just endorsed Kerry.

When Clark wins the nomination, he should IMO pick Kerry as his VP, both to solidify and unify the Democratic party and because Kerry would be a good VP.

6. Arizona has a unusual rule
where you can reject your absentee vote. If you change your mind, you go to the polling place and say you want to vote in person and have your absentee ballot tossed (which remains sealed). Kind of interesting. Don't know how many people know/would take advantage of this.

16. I'd never heard about it either
Picked it up from the Sam Coppersmith blog site:

http://liberaldesert.blogspot.com/

He talks about it on Jan 30th.

7. Go Clark!
I'd rather my #2 state voted for my #2 candidate than for my # "not even when Hell freezes over" candidate. But let's hope most of the absentees vote for Dean ;)

8. about the 24,000/50,000
The same numbers cited here were also cited by a Dean supporter in a thread regarding New Mexico. I haven't been able to find hard numbers/estimates for either state. Just curious where people are coming up with these numbers

9. To inject a dose of reality here
Zogby has Kerry over Clark by 14 and American Research Group has him by 11. No other poll has the race as close as Survey USA. (Don't get me wrong; I like Clark a lot, but Zogby nailed the margin in N.H. exactly).

11. Cnn is reporting that Kerry leads everywhere but SC
You seem to be going on the theory that Kerry is leading because he is the front runner rather then he is the front runner because he is leading.
