1. Impressive
He's worse than McClellan. Interesting how the WH keeps fucking down.

A really smarmy sweettalker, that Tony Snow.

24. To his credit, he comes across as very composed and prepared.
He's smooth in Q & A sessions.

Mclellan was a complete joke.

25. Don't be fooled by the packaging
He's smarter than McClellan, his a vicious history, and is far more deadly.

Total prick.

2. So in other words, nothing will change. He'll still be the same *-ball-
licking whore he's been all along. He'll just be OFFICIALLY on the payroll.

3. Why would he take this?
It's an awful, awful job. Besides, he probably made more working for FOX anyway. This decision is truly baffling.

4. He's dogmeat
Snow may be a good cheerleader but he's an awful liar.
The press will have him in a stuttering pile of goo
as soon as the next scandal hits the White House...
which will be along any minute now.

Should be a good show.

6. Oh good...
I haven't watched Fox News, but I heard their slogan is "Fair and Balanced."

This can ONLY mean good things for us, people! If Tony brings some of that refreshing
"Fair and Balanced" attitude from Fox, maybe we will finally get some truth
out of this administration!

We've waited for this, for SO long. Finally, a decent "Fair and Balanced" press conference!

12. Excellent...means I don't have to watch it ....just like I gave up on
Robo Scotty. Picking some Faux Hack can only mean that Bush will go down further in the polls.

I have no idea about Snow's qualifications except what I've read...that he was a speech writer for Poppy. I don't watch Faux so I shouldn't speak out, maybe. But I remember him from way back somewhere before Faux Fame and he always struck me as a sychophantic ass who is a heck of alot slower on his feet and more prone to being "sensitive" than Ari or Scotty ever had the capacity to be. (I think they both were cloned in the WH basement and are basically non-human) so

Snow being used to the Faux accolades for their building of the Image of Bush & his CodPiece mentality ...might just end up crashing and burning under the weight of the lies he has to deal with as Bush moves towards Impeachment, Censure or just plain being tied up like Gulliver in the coming years. I don't think I remember him having the "sense of humor" about the PS job that all the former PS's say is necessary.

But then, as I said...I base this on some dim memory of Snow before his Faux duty.

Maybe some of you who've watched him recently have more insight.

13. Finally, we can see what Faux Snooze has been all about...we have evidence
It will be particularly funny to hear Tony with the EXACT same talking points that FN has...all I ask is that Tony wear a Fox News button on his lapel if he wants to come across as honest.

17. This is too good to be true. Snow may play well in la-la land....

(Faux Snooze), where he already has a brainwashed audience. Hell, he didn't even have to try hard, but to try and "Snowjob" the entire press, plus the American people? He'll come off looking like the lightweight amateur that he really is. It will make Scotty and Ari look like geniuses. I doubt if he will lastthe remainder of Bush's presidency.

19. Yuck
I think Bush's strategy on this one is quite clear: he doesn't really wish for anybody to pay attention to his Administration's moves and thus doesn't really want to have a press secretary at all, so chose one with the most irritating voice he could find in order to keep people from listening.

20. Not that this administration is about vendettas or anything,
but does this mean that no reporter from ABC, where Snow couldn't quite hack it, will ever have a question answered? Somewhere, Jeff Gannon is rubbing one out and looking for his press credentials.

23. I'm confused-does Snow have some relevance or credibility?
or is this just some free national publicity for the WH press core (the last being the male prostitute in their midst)?

Does the suit and the haircut and the tallerness (than Scottie) mean something?

Am I missing something important?
