<snip>BOB FRANKEN, CNN NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT: Well, they're talking a big turnout. There is a lot of interest. As you know, the Democratic race has generated quite a bit of notice wherever it's been, and it's in seven states today.

And you brought up something just a moment ago that is really fundamental here. The Terry McAuliffe rule is cited very often. That is the Democratic National Committee chairman saying that if somebody hasn't won a primary by the end of today, he really needs to reassess his position, which translates to pulling out.

There is also some discussion in the John Edwards camp that if he doesn't win here, where he is considered such a favorite, then he would probably pull out and throw his support to John Kerry. Although he is considered the favorite in the polls, there are a lot of people who believe that the potential for an upset by Kerry (UNINTELLIGIBLE) North Carolina, too.

1. I will be so disappointed
if Edwards drops out and endorses Kerry. Especially after everthing Kerry has said about Edwards. I hope he wins SC and keeps on going. Or if he drops out he just stays neutral.

5. Nothing, Kerry has treated people who show respect to him with the same

or in other words, he hasn't started anything. Dean set the tone by going negative from the beginning and never letting up, which flies in the face of his despicably untruthful "pincushon" statement, (and his pincushon excuse for losing 2 primaries in a row).

I suspect whatever this person thinks Kerry has said about Edwards is in his head.

By the way, I will be dissapointed if the Edwards camp goes to Kerry because I'd rather they go to who I see is the better and more electable candidate, Clark

3. They're part of the same Washington Club, it wouldn't surprise me...
Edwards will be a good boy and obey big boss Terry McAuliffe as expected, no spine....
