Whew! I've Been Working My Rear End Off for Clark.

This last week has been crazy for both my real job and my efforts for General Wesley Clark. The moment of truth is tomorrow. (Today, in some time zones.) We'll see what happens. I am optimistic that Clark will do well tomorrow, better than expected.

Regardless, however, I feel great about doing my utmost in my efforts to support him. Everyone else here who can say the same of their candidate has my respect and congratulations, regardless of who that candidate is. (Unless that candidate is Bush, of course.) ;-)

I love Clark, and Kucinich and Sharpton. I like Kerry. I like Edwards. I am now even OK with Dean, and maybe even Lieberman. Each one of them is a hell of a lot better than Bush.

If you live in Los Angeles, come to the Clark results-watching party at The Lighthouse in Hermosa Beach. I'll be the Asian guy in the "All Patriot, No Act" T-Shirt. :D

9. I was on the phone banks myself

to some southern states, and my home state, Wisconsin. I converted a lifer republican to a conscientious Clark supporter in just under 40 minutes! YAY ME! I got alot of really positive feedback from people all over the country about Clark. The chief complaint I received was that they didn't see him much on TV, and didn't know enough about him to vote for him. So we educated them, and will educate them one phone call at a time, if necessary. Bill Clintion didn't win a state until march 3rd. I think Clark will win 2 states tomorrow maybe even 3, with solid 2nd place finishes in the rest.

First a week in NH, then back to VA, calling voters and doing visibility. I now know more about OK and NM than I did before, that's for sure!

I'll be watching tonight with a sore throat, not too much voice left, and a whole bunch of Vitamin C to get me through.
