Poll question: Does Kerry have a lock on the nomination?
The media seems to think so, do you?

1. Nope. There's no string tied to my nose, leading me around.
And Rove has not yet begun to fight *shudder*

How dare you insinuate that the primaries are still in progress and have over a month to go?

What are you trying to do, get Bush re-elected?

EDIT: I was joking.

17. Yeah!
What do you want us to do, Cancel The Primaries, or something?

P.S.: Inside DU joke, for those with good memories.

4. If Bush's numbers keep dropping
The "electability" issue goes right out the window.

8. Underestimating Bush is a proven strategy. But I dislike what it prooves.
We underestimated his/Rove's/BFEE's determination to deliver Florida; we underestimated their determination to carry the Supreme Court; we underestimated their determination to go to war. He's been handing us our head and laughing his big smirking head off at us for three years now, from the 2002 elections to the prescription drug benefit vote.

Go ahead and count on Bush doing everything wrong. Some of us want to win this election. Conceding that Dr. Dean is less electable is hardly a smart admission on your part.

9. Attacks are starting
We've all heard about JK's links to the Special Interests today, who knows what will be tomorrow. I still think Dean is the MAN.

I must add, ABB!!!!

10. Odds-on favorite, but NOT a done deal
Dean and Edwards both have plausible but low-probability strategies.

13. Not by a long shot........
This really cracks me up. With one caucus and one primary decided, the nomination goes to Kerry? Is that how the system works?

Gee, I thought whoever went into the convention with the most delegates got the nomination. I guess I got my facts wrong.......

14. Yes, you got your facts wrong. Now go sit in the back of the class.
And write one hundred times, "I will not support anyone until I am told which candidate to support by the press and the networks."

I know it's a lot of words, but the repetition and the monotony are necessary for brainwashing.

15. A month ago
the media/pundits thought Dean had a lock on it. Now they think Kerry does.

I've heard reports on the news that "Kerry could win all states Tuesday." If he only wins three or four, the spin will be "Has Kerry faltered?"

If Kerry does sweep tomorrow, he probably has it locked up. It will be hard for the others to keep their donors donating. But if he gets surprised somewhere, or loses SC and OK and isn't winning big in the others, the other candidates will have new life.

16. No. They said Dean did. Too volatile with so much at stake to call it now.

I started this poll pretty late (12am Eastern).. Got a lot of good feedback. Let's give the non-night owls a chance to weigh in.
