Does Kerry have women problems?
Ive read he has some from single days and from first wife. Not saying this for flames but we BETTER KNOW if he does and if they will turn people off big time. I don't think they should matter but WILL THEY?

1. They won't matter as long as he did nothing illegal and says to us
"My personal life is just that--personal. Next question?"

2. He tried to get his marriage..
with his first wife annulled, even though they had 2 kids. Left her because she was depressed, according to sources.

He'll have trouble winning over the "family values" crowd, unfortunately.

19. That's not true
First, he's Catholic and having a marriage annulled is what Catholics do when they want to remarry. Second, their marital difficulties are theirs, the divorce was mutual.

24. Untrue -
Annulment is granted by special dispensation - it's not a Catholic version of divorce. You have to have grounds, like the marriage not being consumnated - hardly the case here since he had children with her.

If he did this, he was in effect saying that the marriage never existed. Nice thing to do to your kids, John.

The more I hear about Kerry, the more I dislike him.

20. He's Catholic
Kerry is Catholic, of course he tried to get the marriage annulled. That happens all the time. Hopefully someone else will know the details, but one of the Kennedys went through the same thing when the wife resisted getting an annulment because they had kids. I'm not Catholic, so it seems a little strange to me, however, I've had friends do the same thing and it's apparently quite common.

I wouldn't try to speak for all women, but his dating history doesn't bother me.

I think his close relationship with his daughters is a strong indication that he didn't do anything too objectionable to their mom.

14. It will matter to the fundies, and quite possibly to the Catholics also
Kerry leaves first wealthy wife while she's in a borderline state of suicidal depression, openly "dates" women such as Morgan Fairchild and other "hot" arm ornaments, although still married. Eventually meets Ms. Heinz. Requests and is granted an annulment (he is Catholic) despite having two children from his marriage with Ms. Thorne.

Abandonment of the wife. Adultery. An annulment, after years of marriage and two children, in order to marry a wealthier woman than the first. Don't think for one minute the Repubs won't play this for all its worth.

First wife remarried and is apparently happy. Teresa is of course ecstatic to have gotten her man.

8. If you make a factual assertion about a candidate that is not generally accepted to be true, you must provide a link to a reputable source to back up your claim. Allegedly "innocent" questions which are actually an underhanded effort to spread rumors are not allowed. If you really need to know the answer to your question, try Google.
