2. Not a Dean supporter but you should have under 18
I know two Dean supporters here who are 16 and 13, good friends of mine. From a 16 year old DK supporter. Just saying.

9. It's surprising to me, so far. Is it to you, Gloria. Would have thought
it would poll younger.

11. Looks about right to me, KoKo.
The average age of Dean meetup attendees is 44. The campaign commissioned an extensive poll at 8 different locations a month or so ago.

12. I had only heard news that he had mostly young supporters. How does Clark
do age group wise. Are you going to do a poll on him?

14. Pretty good bell curve going.
I'm in the "middle" age group. I voted for McGovern himself, my first political act.

McGovern lost, but remember what happened to Nixon? I was right.

15. The question begs an assumption
(or appears to) whether intended or not. Regarding political choices, a long time ago I realized that assumptions as well as 'political pundits' "conventional wisdom" - are often far off of reality. Only say that to say - that any spread of support (many young, or many old) wouldn't surprise me. Regarding the electorate (even in a biased sample - as in biased towards democrats) - expect the unexpected.
