Said Bush and the military need to answer the question of Bush's records and where he was. He doesn't have the facts so he can't make a judgment on it. He's not ducking this, he is addressing it diplomatically. Just so's everybody knows.
I wouldn't watch Paula Zahn if my mom was on it, so I'm glad to see Kerry's not pressing this and letting the media run with the story instead of him leading charges against Bush. Smart politics.
See Kerry said "deserter" is over the top language, because it is, because apparently only regular Army can be charged with desertion. Kerry said the military and George Bush needed to come up with the facts because he didn't have the facts. He stuck it to Bush without sticking it to himself. Clark didn't do that. We call that "nuance".
