Clark shaking hands on C-Span at tire plant
Replay of Clark shaking hands at a tire plant in Oklahoma City...

Looks like 95%+ of the workers don't know or care who Clark is or even that there's an election. They just blow right past him.

Maybe it's too early in the morning and these folks just don't want to be bothered but Clark looked a bit foolish

1. Plant gate photo ops not a great idea
Especially in the a.m. Everybody times arrival to get there split seconds before the shift starts. If you stop to chat, you risk clocking in late, which is a big jam up for most hourly workers.

At the end of the shift, everybody wants to get the hell out of there but I imagine it would be easier to get people to chat.

2. That whole thing was just weird.
It may get him a couple more votes, but I think he could garner more votes doing other types of events.
