14. Outstanding work on his part. Why earn it when you can marry it?
And to do it twice is uncanny.

21. Wrong.
He only recently inherited it after deaths in his family. He didn't take money from his first wife and the man has ALWAYS worked hard his entire life, even though he didn't have to.

11. yup, the ketchup queen is worth 600million..
Kerry's wife, Heinz food company heiress Teresa Heinz, reported more than $600 million in assets this year, according to published accounts.

Is Theresa Heinz the Ketchup heiress???
I thought she was the widow of the Ketchup Heir?

So if you follow the money, Kerry is rich because he gets money from his rich wife who didn't earn it, and she got rich from her rich husband who didn't earn it.

So Kerry is rich, and he is 4 people removed from the person who actually did the work. That is simply amazing! How does he feel about Estate Taxes?

10. Um, no, he's not a Republican
The second and third people on the list are Dems also. Are you questioning their bonafides as well? I guess that would make FDR a Repuke, because he was wealthy, too.

18. Corzine's a good Democrat
Corzine(NJ) has a ton of money, spent ~$60 Million getting elected. He is one of the more progressive Senators. He earned it all. It's not the money, it's what you do.

Remember Roosevelt? He had some money too

19. Kerry may have inherited and married his money, but he
certainly has not jetsetted. He has gone to war; he has protested war; he has championed the environment, the poor, the weak. He has worked hard in the Senate. His wife is rich and she works hard with many charities. What has Bush ever done? What has Laura?

23. WTF??
Being wealthy makes him a Republican?

So the implication is no Democrat can possibly be wealthy. Are they all supposed to be poor?

What a slimy post. Insulting to all Democrats. Let me guess who your candidate is ...
