Let us ALL oppose the crazy folk...
recent polls say that the US is 85% christian...lets examine this in a blue state way....I'm bettin' that while, Oh say Alabama may in fact be 97% christian, that even crazy places like New York or Massachusetts (With much larger populations NEVER drop below 75%...and ALABAMA has the loons!!!Yep, just over 50% of their loons will sign onto "prosecution of christian" nonsense, but in the Massachusetts 75% there is not 10% mounting "I Love Jesus" signs...Hell-half the unitarians identify as "christians"...In short-those who identify as "christians" is one thing-most my neighbors DO...But to make "fundamentalist" equate to "christian" nationwide is truly crazy..

1. So.. we just keep putting up more signs like this--->

And making sure that Americans know what low-life, dirty, deceitful, anti-Christian liars Republicans are.

Problem solved.

2. fantastic sign!
I labored thru an article today in the local paper about a homeless shelter that had to close due to lack of funds. It was very sad that so many had no place to go.

Yet Bush insists on giving the upper crust unprecedented tax cuts.

3. please quit giving credence to corporate media claptrap
I'm in Alabama and I offer a jolly "fuck you" to religious fundamentalists of all stripes, Christian, Islamic, Jewish, etc.

Don't you realize that that the red state/blue state bs is to a certain extent intended to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's an attempt to demonize the parts of the country that Republicans aren't likely to win anytime soon anyway. It's just like everything else the Republicans do, DIVIDE and conquer.

It's just a measure of points on an invisible graph somewhere, but they want to make it into something more concrete. But it's just something made up by the corporate suits to further corporate interests. And I'm not falling for it.

By the way, last time I went to church (and I admit it's been awhile) was at a Unitarian church up the road, and I met some really nice people.
