Two from TruthIsAll -- Spread the Links!!!
Edited on Sun Apr-02-06 10:32 PM by autorank
Note: The last update on TIA’s condition was from his sister in this message. Right now, we can assume no news is good news. Anything I hear, I will share immediately.

Here are two links to articles that tell the TRUTH about the impossible to believe election of 2004. The first is one that EnfantTerrible noted Mark Crispin Miller forwarded to mailing list . The second has an interview with TIA.

Get the links around. Good stuff within.

NOTE: Doubting election fraud in 2004 is like doubting global warming at this point. If the critics show up and question the statistics, feel free to IGNORE it. There is no more need to debate election fraud 2004 than there is to debate the melting polar caps ;)

The Unanswered Question: Who Really Won In 2004?

By DU Poster Autorank
http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0507/S00238.htm
According to the vote tabulators, in the 2004 presidential election George W. Bush won a stunning victory that defied all odds, particularly those applied by unbiased statisticians. He won despite trailing in most state and national polls. He won despite an approval rating of less than 50%, usually the death knell for an incumbent presidential candidate. He won despite trailing in the three National Exit Polls three timelines from 4pm to 12:22 am (13047 respondents) by a steady 48%-51%, miraculously winning the final exit poll (with only 613 additional respondents, totaling 13,660). This poll was “weighted” (altered) to meet the reported election result on the assumption that the reported result was accurate -- quite an assumption. The final poll showed a stunning reversal of the Kerry 51%-48% poll margin, which had been measured consistently all day by the same polling group: major news/networks and polling firm Edison-Mitofsky.

Kerry Won!!! Statistical Tools Everyone Can Use
Plus an interview with TruthIsAll.

<snip>

When was your first post on the 2004 election controversy?

TIA: Nov. 4, 2004: On DU “To Believe Bush Won the Election….” Will Pitt referenced the full post in an article he wrote a few days later and it spread all over the Net.

How many main posts on DemocraticUnderground (DU) and other forums have you written on the election?

TIA: About 150 original posts.

Why all this energy devoted to the 2004 election?

TIA: I was appalled when the election was stolen from Gore in 2000. I had posted daily projections of my Election Model on DU in the four months leading up to the election. The projections were based on state and national polls. The final national model had Kerry 51.6 % of the two-party vote; the state model 51.8 %. The state model included a Monte Carlo simulation with a Kerry expected total of 337 electoral votes.

The initial exit polls and the Iowa Election Markets showed that Kerry was a 3% winner. When Bush came from nowhere after 9 p.m. to win, I had this feeling of Déjà vu. So I decided to confirm the doubts using mathematical probability analysis, based on the
preliminary exit poll data downloaded by Jonathan Simon.

3. Don't Miss Reading this one...
TIA has a background and several degrees in applied mathematics.
Using various elements of the national and state exit polls and other
data sources, he produces results that are thorough, detailed, sober
and compelling. He shows ALL data and calculations, while encouraging
others to check his math. Only once did he make a minor math error,
after asking DUers to check his calculation of probability that at
least 16 states would deviate beyond their exit poll margin of error
and go for Bush.

The answer turned out to be one in 19 trillion!

9. We'll have to create it. They're in NOLA now and they can get a
picture of how it happens everywhere!

Election Fraud is Most Frequently a Race Crime!!!

We need to remember that it's hidden under the name

"spoiled ballots" since the 1960's, in predominantly

minority precincts.. What a farce!

Now it's hitting the suburbs. We're all being

"spoiled" by this lousy, insincere system run by

whomever happens to be the highest bidder. Actually,

I'd be surprised if they even have bids anymore..."oh,

let's see, which company is owned by a right wing

Republican?" ENOUGH."

25. Really, people need to get THIS message. We all have to see these folks
for who they are, enemies of democracy. The fewer people who vote the better AND owning the machines and centralized voter registration databases, we'll that's Gods green acre.

We'll prevail, I figure after 2006 is a total disaster because of those registration databases. See today's thread on CA voter registration rejections. Holy cow, 25-33%. That's not good for stupid people who think "database" is a container for flowers in the computer room. We're talking about the 4th string here needing to fix a world class problem in ... when is that primary...and then by November. Wow!

15. Excellent information...
Occasionally I see a post on DU in which the writer refers to shrub as "President Bush". I have usually found that to be a dead giveaway of their leanings, but it is also false. He is not the president; his claim on the presidency is illegitimate.

Actually I would really prefer to use much cruder designations, but as Auntie Em said in the Wizard of Oz - "...well, being a Christian woman, I can't say it!".

Actually I'm a male, and I'm not usually all that Christian, and... so... well... nevermind.

18. Wow, that TIA thread
...had close to 600 posts! What love!

TIA carried the ball for so long on DU, trying, not in vain, to educate us as to how the numbers stacked up.

Then he followed up with how screwed up the exit-polls were on Nov. 2, 2004. We followed as he laid the groundwork for how the election was stolen and his imparted wisdom and knowledge still grows daily on DU.

We shall never give up, and we shall never quit.

22. I am convinced that in 50 years, the election thefts of 2000 and 2004
Will be considered fact, and taught as such when history students study the dark era of Bush fascism.

The name George W. Bush will replace Joe McCarthy as the shorthand way of saying "American fascist."

36. Historic work by TIA and Auto.
The physical evidence already conforms to a high-resolution image of a smoking gun with the barrel still warm, but when all that is history, the probability statistics, the figures will remain. The beauty of 'a priori' truths. How their very elementary message is interpreted will be and will remain the most pellucidly clear indicator of a person's integrity or otherwise.

They wanted their squalid exposes of Bill's adulterous affair to remain on the Internet. Maybe it it does. I don't know. But those statistics of electoral fraud by the Republicans pertain to an altogether more ambient record, to which scholars all over the world will always have access, leaving to those chronically prurient Mammon-worshippers of the right, what rings their own smutty chimes.

Best wishes to you and TIA, Auto. Splice the mainbrace, Capting!
