ABC News producer suspended over leaked e-mail

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - The executive producer of "Good Morning America Weekend" has been given a one-month suspension after an 18-month-old e-mail critical of President Bush was leaked to the press.

ABC News made the move Friday, though spokesmen at the network declined comment.

John Green's e-mail dated September 30, 2004, apparently was written during a George W. Bush- John Kerry debate. One read: "Are you watching this? Bush makes me sick. If he uses the 'mixed messages' line one more time I'm going to puke."

The e-mail appeared two weeks ago on the Drudge Report and has been the talk of the Internet. Green apologized well before the suspension occurred. He has been executive producer of the show since 2004, when it began.

No where in this story is it said that this fellow's email was from / to / by ABC, but a fellow who WORKED for their "soft news" show, Good Morning America Weekend (not exactly Meet the Press)...

It doesn't say if this person had anything to do with the CONTENT of GMAW....

So, let me do the "worst case" here...

This guy happens to be lucky enough to work at major media outlet ABC. He sends out a PERSONAL email that's critical of President Porky Pig's speech problems which would otherwise not be tolerated in the main stream media... (in case you haven't noticed, no one given a national platform by the MSM has a worse command of the English language than Bush)...

SOMEHOW, the SLUDGE report gets it, OBVIOUSLY forwarded by a fasist, right wing wacko who happens to either work at ABC as well (again, the report fails to cite the nature of the email) or someone who has intercepted the email....
