A "Shake-Up" requires more than one departure IMHO

This "shake-up" line of bull is ridiculous. If, on the other hand, Rove, Hadley, and Card were to "resign" in order to "be with their family" then that would be a "shake-up" this, this is NOT a "shake-up" - IMHO.

Language matters, you know.

I started looking for the other resignations. This is more of the same drainage.

2. And - requires more than the "crony shuffle"
Which is exactly what this is. Josh Bolten is one of the boys; he's been with Bush since he ran for governor in Texas.

He's embarrassed them enough to get them to scream.

6. It's show only
Like just about everything else they do. It's like trying to get rid of a massive termite infestation by slapping a coat of paint on the house.

10. He was the guy they sent out for Cheeseburgers!
It was in the Woodward book. How is firing the guy you sent to get cheeseburgers for everyone else at a meeting a 'shake-up' of the staff?

That's like saying that you fired the waiter so now the restaurant is 'under new management.' I don't friggin think so.

13. Nonetheless, it takes more than 1 resignation to be called a
"shake-up"
