Immigration: the new gay marriage
We all knew it was coming. The wedge issue du jour is obviously immigration. Is there nothing the GOP isn't willing to do to pander for votes? I swear, their politics get slimier and slimier. And, as we all well know here, they haven't any intention at all of actually keeping cheap labor out of the country, they are paying lip service to mobilize the batshit crazy part of their political base. Aaaaaaargh!

1. There's one tiny problem:
The GOP is divided on the very issue too.

Of course, unlike the Dems, they'll all vote unanimously when the time comes.

2. You are right
...they will vote in unison. They're very good at solidarity, but then, the right has always been better at that than the left. <Mutters to self "victory in '06, victory in '06, victory in '06">
