2. The Jan 4 debate?
From the WaPo transcript, Dean: "And I'd like to find out who on this stage agrees that they will pledge to vigorously support the Democratic nominee."
Kerry, Moseley Braun, Edwards, Lieberman, Gephardt and Kucinich are supposed to have raised their hands in agreement.

Two candidates, retired Gen. Wesley K. Clark and Al Sharpton, did not attend that debate.

3. Agreed.
But I believe Sharpton wants to play a bigger part in our party in the future; I don't see him leaving. I see him continuing to confront, which is very good.

I feel the same way about Clark in that I just believe in his sincerity. I'm not sure what he'll do, but I believe he will remain a democrat.

So, our only problem is making sure democrats understand it really is important enough to vote ABB rather than let Bush get 4 more years just because someone's top choices don't turn out to be the nominee.
