5. YES. They COULD be. TOTALLY, UTTERLY and COMPLETELY wrong.
He's sinking tons of money and energy into the GRASSROOTS, where you build up from the bones. He's building our party some feet and legs to stand with, plus backbone galore.

And yes, he's taking a page from that gawd-awful ralph reed, who sent legions of flying monkeys into the grassroots to take over, weasel their way in at the local level, win the school board elections and the little piss-ant elections that nobody cared about, but from which they could BUILD. That was smart of him and bad news for us Dems. But Howard has started building for US that same way, and it's gonna make a difference.

This is the DSCC, the Senate Democrats, not the DNC. The DNC is still behind the RNC, but probably ahead of where it's been in past years.
