We aren't imagining bias against Clark
This just bugs the heck out of me:

Clark has been in Oklahoma every day since finishing fourth in the New Hampshire primary last Tuesday. He visited Oklahoma City and Lawton on Sunday, after making stops in Norman, Oklahoma City, McAlester, and twice in Tulsa in the past week.

This is an AP article. Anyone notice an error? I called the station, but no one answered, so I left a message.

21. Same tactic they used on Kerry and Edwards. Buck up and pull through Clark
supporters. Beat the press back where you can. They INTEND to make our primary look bad in every way they can.

22. Here's the letter I wrote to the AP
Associated Press GET YOUR Freakin' FACTS STRAIGHT!!!!

What about your crappy reporting and journalistic skills? You said that Clark finished 4th not 3rd in NH. You have got to be the worst writers in the world if you can't get this fact straight. Your bias against Clark is overly apparent. What does KKKarl Rove have you so tied up you can't even report the facts?

The crappy article you wrote is here:

http://www.kotv.com/pages/viewpage.asp?id=57399

You too can email the AP @

23. Just a little pick me up for Clark supporters
At least here in Reno we have some good public TV exposure. There was a great anti-war colalition debate that went very well for Wes and has been shown and also we have been able to run American Son several times daily for a few weeks.

26. Two Things Hurting Clark
1. He is perceived as having entered the race to siphon votes away from Dean.

2. As much as Dean gets the publicity for nailing Bush, Clark has said in interviews some things that go even further in demanding accountability from the White House. And, horror of horrors, he didn't disavow Michael Moore's comments.

Big media doesn't like that kind of talk. You saw Peter Jennings.

Subject: error on Clark story
----------

This message was sent by a kotv.com visitor on 2/2/2004 9:30:46 AM Hello, Notice the AP story about newspaper endorsements has an error. The last paragraph says that Clark placed fourth in New Hampshire. This is not correct. Clark placed third. Thanks for you attention. I've found KOTV to be quite accurate, and I thought you might want to change this. Nancy xxxxxxxx, Tulsa
--------------

Notice how I was nice to them. This helps so much if you want to get results.

I'm not beyond manipulation. But actually, the CBS affliate here in Tulsa has a rep as being just a tad more liberal than the others. In fact the old news director is (horrors) a Unitarian.
Speaking of which, my daughter was visiting NYC, and saw Dan Rather at the Unitarian chuch.

35. I predict Oklahoma keeps Clark alive
I expect Kerry to be labeled a "regional" candidate after Tuesday. I am expecting a Clark win in Oklahoma, an Edwards win in South Carolina and a Kerry defeat in Arizona. This will show that Kerry IS Dukakis all over again.
