Dear Terry McAuliffe

MESSAGE TO TERRY MAC
Terry MacAuliffe expressed a desire for a Kerry-Bush debate.
I could care less whom Mac Auliffe roots for as a voter. Personally, I  root for General Clark who is more electable, competent, not corrupt, has an actual chestfull of medals (which he didn't fake throwing away) and has the moral authority to oppose  Bush - not having enabled his every step.Plus we don't lose a seat in the Senate.
As the chairman of DNC, Terry MacAuliffe BETTER ROOT FOR THE NOMINEE unless he wants to drive this and other democrats out of the party.

1. Very nice note to Terry.
Mine wasn't quite as nice. He NEEDS to hear from all of the Clark supporters! I informed him that I will be leaving the Democratic Party if Kerry wins the nomination and the DNC will NEVER see a penny of my money again. Write to McAuliffe! He needs to be put in his place...he has already made his "choice" of who our nominee should be and it is his job to represent ALL of the candidates until there's an ACTUAL nominee.

Go Wes!

2. He needs to hear from all Democrats
If I were a kerry supporter I would be also embarrassed by this kowtowing to the RNC media.

3. I wrote last night
Called him on his duty to be neutral, and if he is going to talk about war heroes who can debate GWB into the ground, he had better start mentioning both names. Words to that effect.

4. Who had the DNC chair in 1994?
Anybody?

Terry has found a $10 milliion for a Dem HQ. He has a data base of 150 million voters. He will deliver $20 million to the nominee.

He has done well. In 1984 the DNC was in debt from the last election.

No wonder Mondale lost.

I will vote for Clark on Tuesday. Your post is just BS. Blogs don't count.

Clark was drafted. Thats how he runs. Leadership is above politics.

He may lose but we had the best choice. Thats the way the system needs to work.

5. Blogs don't count? Does NYT? ABC news?

"I look forward to that debate when John Kerry, a war hero with a chest full of medals, is standing next to George Bush, a man who was AWOL in the Alabama National Guard," Mr. McAuliffe said in an interview on the ABC News program "This Week." "George Bush never served in our military in our country. He didn't show up when he should have showed up. And there's John Kerry on the stage with a chest full of medals that he earned by saving the lives of American soldiers. So, as John Kerry says, `Bring it on!' "

I had defended the man here for 3 years - but this was grossly inappropriate and he has to know it. Blogs don't count? That's a BS remark!
His remarks quoted all over the media DO!

6. Just called his office. keep it up.

Said my piece to his secretary, then she asked me if I want to go on the comment line - which I did. I said besides my written message - that as a Clark supporter I am outraged that he adds to the media ignoring my candidate. And if it turns out that his little maneuver works, he should prepare for a large exodus of democrats. I demanded  a clarification today - before the elections.
Secretary was nice - even waited for me to turn off the fire under my tea. Please call. We need to make him retract TODAY.
