I'm not sure how much if any work I'd do for Dean as I'm convinced it would be a lost cause. I'll vote a straight Democratic ticket like I always do. But right now, I'm thinking that since Dean has this massive "energized base" they won't be needing my help or anyone else's help.

I'll start my letter writing campaign for Hillary in '08 in the meantime.

1. A self-defeating, defeatist point of view....
So you would sit by and let Bush win again?

I live in Florida and understand how important it is to deliver this state for the nominee.

4. Well, I'd vote but would put my energies to the local Congr. campaign
I just signed to get Mark Steinborn on the ballot for Dems....he has worked for Sen. Bingaman as his field guy. There's another potential candidate but he would have to move into the district and I don't think that will fly!!~

So I will work to get Repuke Pearce out and our Dem into the 2nd Congressional seat!!

Isn't he the moron who announced to the Las Cruces Sun Times that "we have way too much public land"?

What a crapcake.

9. Actually, same here
The local sheriff is going to need some help. He's an old friend and I want to be sure he gets back in. I have a cousin that's a county commissioner a couple of counties away. I want to be sure he gets in too although he won't have too much trouble. And depending on how the congressional districts end up in Texas, I want to be sure my congressman gets back in too.

I appreciate your candor on this matter, but would suggest you review what it takes to win elections.

10. Are you gonna write some re-select the Chimp letters too?
Hey, I have a lot of suspicions about Kerry, but in the one in a billion chance he got the nomination, I'd bust my ass to get him elected, because even if PNAC is dictating his foreign policy, at least his domestic agenda would be something other than tax cuts for billionaires and selling off government to corporations and right wing churches.

If Wes Clark wants the Moron out of office, he'll be helping the nominee. Why wouldn't you?

11. I would work for Dean
But I will not be nearly as effective campaigning for Dean as I would be for Clark, because I strongly believe in Clark PLUS I want Bush out. If Clark isn't running I will still want Bush out. I probably won't neglect my own business to the extent that I do for Clark's campaign

I am much more effective when I really believe in my candidate. Clark got me to cross over from being an exclusively grass roots activist to entering mainstream National politics. I am sure many Dean supporters would feel much like I do if the roles should be reversed and Dean isn't the nominee. Such is life.

13. I don't waste my energy with crazy scenarios - I am aiming to WIN
the nomination. Didn't get my reality check from the media for the oast 3 years - why start now? It was election lies that opened my eyes in the first place.

I will continue to contribute and will continue to work for the Dean campaign.

Further, I will contribute and work for the Democratic candidate regardless of which one is nominated. I will not sit by and allow 4 more years of Bush* to happen for the lack of my support.

Although, since 2000, everyone I have donated to has lost except Mary landrieu.

I think Clark can win both the primary and the general election.

and do everything I can to help him get elected. Whatever my feelings are about Dean right now, I don't think this country can afford another 4 years of Bush, and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't do everything in my power to help get him out.

i think i'll concentrate on spectre, instead.
