Russ Feingold Radio Interview
I came across this radio interview that Rachel Maddow had with Senator Russ Feingold on the day of the final Alito vote. (It happened to also be the the day that news came out of Coretta Scott King's passing and the day of the SOTU)

Very interessting points on the issue of filibuster, why the Dems didn't stand on principle in unity and other questions raised in this interview.

The audio file is Rachel's entire show (this is not merely a clip).

The intro for the segment of Senator Russ Feingold's interview is at 40:21.

The could have held a filibuster together, it would have been enough.

the gang of 14 agreement was the evil deed that gave away the store - and gave the dems an out. freaking dems that didn't stand together need a damn hard spanking for this.
