Since subtlety has never been a GOP strong suit, I've been assembling my own panel of GOP pundits as a way to figure out what Roves internal Dem vs. Chimp polls are saying. You can always count on Tweety, Tucker, Wolf, Timmy, and Fineman to follow the GOP line on the Dem candidates to the letter thus getting a remarkably clear view into the slime pit that is Rove's brain.
This week Tweety, Tucker, and Fineman have officially stopped being nice to Dean now that it's clear that he's toast. All three anointed Kerry and continued their shameless bashing of Clark. Edwards written off.
Timmy conducted an uncharacteristically hard interview of Dean and, in a very telling bit of shamelessness, used (unattributed) a letter from Kerry's MN campaign manager to whack Dean. Ignored Clark. Edward barely addressed.
Wolf also pretended Clark did not exist Clark. Acted as if Kerry has been nominated.
It seems that they've either resigned themselves to the fact that Kerry will be the nominee and do not want Clark and/or Edwards to make a comeback, or they are blatantly pushing Kerry because they think he'll be the least likely of the remaining "viables" to beat Bush.
