What do DUers think of Ted Rall's latest post, at Common Dreams, which is about the discrepencies between the Bush story about what happened to United Flight 93 and the fact surrounding the downing of the plane. I think the infromation in interesting.

1. I buy into the "official story" of flight 93....

do the exact same degree that I believe the "official stories" of Jessica Lynch and Pat Tillman

which is to say, not at all

I've always assumed it was shot down, simply because of the PR value of the "official" story

plus, a few weeks later, they did mention here & there that they would have shot it down, had it not crashed

2. there are discrepencies in the way the Towers fell ....

they fell on top of each other in free-fall and this has only happened in controlled demolish and I believe Building #7 fell the same way even though it wasn't hit ... looking at the Offical/Bush story of the way they fell (jet fuel weakening the steel) most of the jet exploded outside the building the weakening couldn't have been distributed so evenly, it would be more logical for them to topple than pancake
