Families of Soldiers can't find lodging because of Hurricane Evacuees
Thousands of Families of servicemembers soon to be deployed to Iraq can't find lodging near Camp Shelby in Mississippi because lodging is full of Hurricane evacuees. 4,000 national guardsmen (the majority of which are from Minnesota) are at Camp Shelby awaiting deployment. Camp officials plan three days of events next week for the Soldiers and their families.
I guess war supporting bush supporters who care not how National Guardsmen of our States are used or what happens to hurricane evacuees would find absolutely nothing wrong with this situation.
A classic example of lack of leadership in the white house. There I go again, finding even more rationalization for hating bush.
2. Meanwhile, thousands of mobile homes sit at an airport in Hope, AK.
How freaking ironic. :( These homes could be placed on the lots where the evacuees' homes once stood. Katrina/Rita was a natural disaster. The BushCo non-response is a man-made disaster of biblical proportions.
some congressman spoke out about the move to name Bill Clinton's first home in Hope, Arkansas a national landmark. They have no shame, no conscience, no heart.
However, for BubbleBoy, a LIE-brary will be the only sort he can have since he admits he doesn't read the news and we've only ever seen him reading My Pet Goat. ;)
