4. If you haven't read "Don't Think of an Elephant"...
...pick up a copy. It costs about ten bucks, it's a real easy read, and it will prove to be worth the investment time and again on the campaign trail. If you're really feeling ambitious, read "Moral Politics" or spend some time with the articles at http://www.rockridgeinstitute.org.

6. If you were running in MY neck of the woods...
you'd have to convince me that you were going to Washington to kick butt and take names, even if they are DEMOCRATIC names.

My fellow ground-dwelling democrats are MAD at the National Party, even if they don't know what the acryonyms DLC, DCCC or DSCC mean.

They are tired of working for dems and being sold out on the national level.
