Oklahoma News Papers Endorse Clark
This from the Clark Weblog:

ALSO: To add a bit on the subject of Mo', I should also note that Clark scored 2 OK newspaper endorsements--weapons Kerry and Edwards apparently wielded to devastating effect in IA and NH--Saturday and is due to add another Monday. So far as I know, no other candidate has scored any major OK newsroom endorsements, and if you add those to the Native American Times endorsement (which actually has a multi-state impact), Clark should definitely have positive press momentum heading in Tuesday in OK.

Survey USA reports fresh OK results (Jan. 29-31; MoE +/- 3.9%; Jan. 20-22 in parens):

Clark 31 (32)
Kerry 25 (17)
Edwards 23 (23)
Dean 10 (9)
Other 9

SUSA comments that Clark's support is "flat" and, unlike Kerry, he has "no momentum," but you know what? Given our media blackout and the predictable results of the NH boost, I will take flat momentum and "broad-based support" as a good indicator that we've locked in a solid 30%+ of the vote in OK (a finding which seems supported by my own phonecalling, even after removing the bias of internal polling). Also, Edwards' support has plateaued, which is a relief, and as SUSA notes, Dean's attacks on Kerry will slow the latter--not to mention the fading afterglow of NH. As long as the undecideds don't break too hard to Kerry, and our ground superiority holds up--yes, that means if you can drive to OK to GOTV, you should do it!--I think we can win this one and fight past Tuesday.

5. Thanks for the link and good news.
"slow and steady wins this race." Amen to that; what I've been thinking for awhile.

So, who thinks we'll have a brokered convention?

7. Clark campaign makes a good move
I must admit that Clark has been very smart by spending so much time in Oklahoma and focusing on a state to WIN. He needed this and it looks like he just might get it.
