What will Rove do next? Pull a Harriet Meyers with Condi??

When Cheney steps down, there appears to be a push to appoint Condi. This will infuriate the Right wing again like with Meyers. This will stir up the base. They are sooo manipulatable. Then Condi will be pulled and someone more favorable will be appointed.

2. Oh I think the right wing idolizes Condi

she's a real two-fer; an African American woman. They would LOVE for Bush to break two barriers by appointing her VP. In fact, he'd be nuts if he didn't.

I believe she would be confirmed in a heartbeat because after all, who wants to come down in history as the person who opposed the first AA/woman candidate?

I think Condi is GWB's boot-wearin', fancy shoe ace in the hole. There will be lots of warm fuzzies when she is appointed.
