Seriously, think about the psychology involved here.

#1: We all hate Bush
#2: We want to defeat Bush

So, what's the immidiate response for someone when they hear something like "If my candidate doesn't get the nomination I'm voting for Bush." The reaction is obvious people, who the hell would vote for George Bush?

So, just so you know, threatening people with a Bush vote doesn't help your cause.

For one to truly do so suggests they really just don't give a damn, IMO (or were never really non-Bush supporters to begin with-- in some cases).

3. Even someone who is saying they won't vote for a particular

candidate is NOT saying they will vote FOR Bush. Whether the two equate is a different discussion. I have seen ONE person that I can recall saying they would vote FOR Bush because they don't like a candidate.

6. I'm saying that. Here is why:

in MA, voting for Bush in Nov won't make ANY difference, in practice. But if Bush picked up a few %, more than in 2000, I hope the MA Democrats will perceive that something is getting out of their control and they better get their act together.
This IF, big IF, Kerry gets the nomination.
