Kristol: Conservatives Believe The Bush Administration Is Incompetent

Kristol: Conservatives Believe The Bush Administration Is Incompetent

Today on Fox News Sunday, Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol said that conservatives have come to believe the Bush administration is incompetent:

BILL KRISTOL: I think it’s become in people’s minds an emblem of the administration that just isn’t as serious about the competent execution of the functions of government as it should be. And even — I’m struck talking to conservatives and Republicans — they agree with the president on basic political philosophy, the they agree with his basic policy agenda, but they are worried that they just don’t seem to be able to execute as well as they should be.

Kristol is right, and it’s a dynamic that makes policy debates almost irrelevant. Even if the administration were to stumble onto a policy that would improve things, it’s highly unlikely the people in charge would be able to execute the policy effectively.

But what would we know; we're just a bunch of Bush-haters.

6. Focusing on the shrub is a mistake.
He is a Sock Puppet for the Multi-Natls. Yeah, he is the Prez. but it is the people behind the curtain that bring forth the Fascism and Globalization. VP Cheney is the actual CIC and Rumsfailed is VP.

7. Take another look at that man, and remember.....
he is one of the signers on the PNAC documents. Nothing will ever change that. Bill Kristol is upset because his dreams of World Domination are failing.

Now he wants to wash his hands of the whole mess, all the while our country is bankrupt and hundreds of thousands are dead because of Lame-brain Kristol.

How quickly they turn.....

9. You Right-Wingers Foisted Team Shrub On Us...
You right-wing jerks foisted Team Shrub and its Banana Republican congressional allies on us, you #$%%&*@@!!!!. As far as I'm concerned, you right-wingers not only own Team Shrub from the Top Boob on downwards but you also own each and every one of this mal-administration's blunders from the time it was installed to the time they leave office. The right-wing touts, shills, and volunteer propagandists richly deserve to have Team Shrub slung around their necks like three day-old roadkill and should have this disaster brought up again and again and again and again and again...

10. This is a chilling, revealing post, IMO
If our predicament were simply political, that is, if turning this thing around were simply a matter of getting a few more votes at election time, then this is a situation we recognize and can deal with. We understand right vs left, progressives vs freepers, blue vs red. Even though we are polarized now more than ever, the simple dem vs pug game is familiar. If RW'rs give up on Bush, then game over, right?

However, the time is coming when freepers are going to stop in their tracks and realize that they are not on the winning side...they are on the losing side with us. We are both going to be standing there, together, wondering how this thing got out of control, literally. On the positive side, unity among "the people" against the corporatists should result in a stronger resistance. On the other hand, that moment when all of us realize what the battle really is will be a sad, scary moment.

OK, RW's now believe the administration is incompetent. This should stop the administration in its tracks, right? Only thing is, it's not. In fact, we are seeing some of the most amazing things: Patriot Act renewel, Missouri official religion proposals, SD and others banning abortion, California Diebold, India nuke agreement, Frist changing intel cte rules.

Just amazing... and chilling.

11. Kristol
He said he thinks The Democrats will take the House. Of course the rest of the panel tried to say
Bush can turn his poll numbers around, the economy Is good, and they can localize the election. But,If
he says that then the Republicans are very worried.

18. "And they keep supporting him."
They are supporting the agenda. They realize that Shrub's brain is deteriorating at a fast pace and are worried about his ability to perform the PR. Shrub and his team are screw-ups but the RW Agenda has not been abandoned.
