Thanks!

Thinks the port deal should be reviewed.

Security does depends on how we regulate - not who owns.

1. Security starts abroad...
We're in a global economy whether we like it or not: can't wall off.

But, we need to investigate. We need to take this apart.

Homeland Security has NOT received the attention it needs.

2. Talking about Iraq.
Right now, we have to get the Sunni leadership into the government, Constitution modified so that it can't be a Shia-dominated buffer for Iran. It's about the POLITICAL aspect. Military needs to be used to gain political leverage. Can't just use the military ONLY.

3. Says we can't control crime in Baghdad.
We're THERE right now, what we have to do RIGHT NOW, we've got to pull our leverage to get responsible Sunni leaders INTO this country (or we'll never get out - my words, paraphrasing).

This debate is ALWAYS about the military because of this administration - never discuss political side.

5. Iran now - needed to talk to Iran a long time ago.
Need to talk to them NOW.

This nuclear issue is being crystalized in such a way they won't be able to back off.

6. I heard him earlier (9 am in Boston) - He was excellent.
He was totally in control of the interview and I really liked his view on the UAE deal and agreed totally. I was happy to see somebody state the issue like that.

8. I like how he just turned a question about whether he's running
in 2008 around to show what Dem policy IS and that we have one for 2006 (unbeknownst, apparently, to the Republican media mynas).

11. Here's the video. I had some audio issues, but it's not too bad

I thought he did a fine job with George. It's about 2006, not 2008. It's about investigations, etc.........well, watch it and see what you think.

12. Yeah - what happened to George that he's become
such a right-wing hack? He's not as bad as some, mind you, but he sure knows how to repeat those Republican talking points without batting an eyelash.

Does this mean that the only way to get your own show is to spew Reich-wing talking points?

Thanks, Ice. Always the best!

So far I like how he handled the 2008 Pres. question. It's about 2006, Stupid!

George really is a Dick. Don't you think?

15. Clark was excellent dealing with that moron George Steph..
Clark was as good this morning on ABC as Edwards was on MTP.

It is nice to have such fine people running in 2008.

16. He really was exceptional
I thought he gave an incredibly rational answer to the ports questions and, I have to say, he won me over. But more than that, I was impressed with the way he talked about Iraq and why the military is not the answer. I saw another former senator on another show talking about Iraq and the contrast in the depth of their grasp of the situation, the possible conclusions, and the decisions we have ahead of us, was striking.

19. Clark explains his decisions/opinions rationally with strategy behind
his answers/explanations. He doesn't just answer the question, "Do you agree with the deal" but he goes on to explain what the problem is and why and how to solve it. He's a real thinker and analyzer and I have utter confidence in his every decision. If he said, "We HAVE to attack Iran to save our world as we know it"... I would believe him and he's the only one in which I have that kind of faith. I don't believe he would ever lie to us for some financial or political gain...unlike the present one.

We absolutely MUST have him for our next President...our whole world depends on it!
