Gov Gary Locke endorses Kerry

I haven't been too impressed with Locke, but still...

Washington state Governor Gary Locke today announced his endorsement of John Kerry for President.

“John Kerry has the right priorities for Washington state,” said Governor Locke. “He understands that the people of Washington want good jobs, affordable health care, public schools and universities that are second to none. His experience and leadership skills will get our state and our country back on track.”

Locke continued, “John Kerry understands foreign policy and how to work within the global community. He will pursue a foreign policy and trade policy that respects America's values.”

Governor Gary Locke was elected in 1996 and re-elected in 2000. He is the country's first Chinese-American governor.

“I'm honored to have the support of Governor Gary Locke. He has lived the American dream, devoted his life to public service, and fought tirelessly for the people of Washington State,” said John Kerry.

5. I'm in Oregon

I honestly don't know alot about Locke, there's just been a few things I've read that I didn't like. I don't remember specifically, I just remember reading things and thinking, eeeewww!

I've been hearing he plans to go to WA, but nothing specific that I've found yet. I'm in Florence actually, thinking about going up to Seattle if he visits. I'll post it if I see anything.
