7. woot woot for wicked high property taxes
That penalize the elderly while workers who have incomes have no income tax.

No sales tax is ok.

If it were up to me (ok, this isn't the thread for this) there would be an income tax nationally (45-30-20-15-5-1) in which EVERYONE who has a job would have to pay something to encourage civic responsibility. And a gas tax.

and we need it bad because the property tax system is the worst.

In any case I'm from Northern MA. - east, 20 minutes from the NH border.

Kerry supporter, along with my husband.
