1. That's what three-year-olds do
Make a mess then walk away, hoping they don't get blamed.

2. So where does this leave our troops? Are they to become targets
and get blamed for the the Iraqi mess?

3. Reminds me of a scene in "Repo Man" ...
OTTO: I'm not gonna be no repo man.

SECRETARY (handing him his pay for a repo he just did): Too late -- you already are.

Sorry, Shrubya, you're already involved in a civil war fiasco ...

5. Is anybody really sure it isn't ALREADY civil war over there?
Seems like it's just a matter of degree/definition - whatever somebody wants to call it.

6. Yep, the headline should be...
"When Bush can no longer hide the fact that civil war has broken out, in Iraq..."

9. Until now not really
With everyone dropping like flies around there now I would have to say yes but you have to look at what was occurring with a little perspective. Lets say you live in DC. If a bomb goes off in NW does that really affect you life if you live in SE? Not really. Yet if you watch the 5 o'clock in San Diego the report will be chaos in DC. Its kinda the same over there. What we had been getting is small areas of violence in concentrated parts of the country. But with this recent shit....you can bet your sweet bippy its going to get really bumpy real soon

18. Sure looks like one to me.
However, I do consider it forward movement that the question's even being broached in the mainstream press. They're FINALLY getting around to this. FINALLY. Granted, three years, almost 2300 American lives, thousands of Iraqi lives, and hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars late. But better late than never, I guess. Still smacks of Gross Dereliction fo Duty to me.

13. "if Civil War breaks out" ?
Like my husband sez, that part of the world has been killing each other for the past 2500 years, and they will continue to kill each other for the next 2500 years.

So, if Bush wants to stay out of it, should our troops? Bring'em home NOW !!!!
