If we are going to live in a society built on private ownership and control over resources everybody needs, then there is no reason why we should reject the UAE's bid for US ports when you have totalitarian China running ports in Los Angeles and, I believe, San Francisco.

4. Hey, Oscar- both are supporters of Globalization, so their support

should come as no surprise.

Now that you have reminded me, I do recall both these former Democrat Presidents making a lot of positive noise about " Globalization " whatever that means. I do not see all the benefits that were supposed to come our way from "Globalization",coming our way. And surely our Nation cannot " Globalize Our National Security " to any degree. ....club. Ex-presidents. And they usually have a different perspective on such things. Mainly that they have to assume, and wrongly in this case usually, that the current president knows more than they do.....mainly because they KNOW that when THEY were in office, they DID know more than everyone else. Of course the difference is that THEY usually, if not always, had the countries best interest at heart....not the best interests of the oil producing countries that the Bush's have close relationships with. I also believe that being classy ex-presidents, that they want to at least give the APPEARANCE of giving Bush the benefit of the doubt.

I DO wish that they would just say nothing, if they feel that way, but asking an ex to keep his mouth shut is not the easiest thing to accomplish.
