fundraising and benefitted Dean and Clark's campaign coffers.

Kerry pulled through and won Iowa and NH anyway, and the media was proven to be LYING about the invincibility of their propped up Dean.

I've read many of your posts. Forgive me if I am a little suspicious.

6. And it would seem he's been able to pay his bills just fine.
To my knowledge, he has not had to ask his staffers to forego their paychecks.

11. Now, now, be nice.
Dean has had his problems, but its just that the Dean deli bill thing strikes me as silly character assasination. Kinda like Kerry with his medals over the fence.

To start a thread about the debt of Kerry's campaign a year ago is silly. Most ventureships need a loan.

17. What are you talking about? Kerry finished last year $2 million in debt
not a year ago. More like 31 days ago. How much money has he raised since then? How many rank & file grassroots supporters are sending money his way since?

Clark raised over $2 million between Iowa and the 27th, not that you'd hear about it. Dean raised over a million, five.

People who give to Dean and Clark are not necessarily the people who would donate to Kerry. Dean's contributors average about $59 apiece.

Clark and Dean can keep on, keeping on, until Boston.

14. That's a big issue to me in regard to Dean -- he asked his

staff yo work without pay so his campaign didn't have to go into debt! It's an outrage that shows how far out of touch he is with people who actually live off their paychecks. He should have done the right thing and taken out a loan to meet expenses.

20. Boy, you just don't get the meaning of "defer", do you?
For your edification:

Main Entry: 1de·fer
Pronunciation: di-'f&r
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): de·ferred; de·fer·ring
Etymology: Middle English deferren, differren, from Middle French differer, from Latin differre to postpone, be different -- more at DIFFER
1 : PUT OFF, DELAY

Deferred pay...not "work without pay". Is this so difficult to comprehend?

16. Dean staff are working without paychecks right now
Did that deli bill ever get paid?

What exactly was your point with this anyway? It's not unusual for campaigns to run in the red.
