When is Dean going to apologize to Clark and Kerry re:GOP accusation?
My guess is that he won't.

He'll just have to see that those kinds of dirtball accusations will not stick with the voters. He will be summarily trounced in all states this week.

20. Facts? Yeah, right.
Care to provide some documentation for that claim?

Didn't think so....

Wouldn't hold my breath.

19. That's looking a lot more likely than that Kerry or Clark is a Republican.

Not much comparison there.

Kerry and Clark are both more liberal than Dean is.

4. Clark is more liberal than Dean
ever was.

My guess is he won't apologize, though; he seems to have a hard time admitting he's ever done anything that's not right.

5. If he believes it's true, then he won't apologize.
Why should he?

7. He accused Kerry of being "on the take" from special interests on MTP.
Yet Kerry has never accepted special interest or corporate pac money in any of his races.

Dean lumped together all the individual donors over a 19 year period to make Kerry appear worse. Those individuals made 1000 dollar donations at a time and now, since CFR, 2000 dollars max.

Would Dean like all his donations over his career to be lumped by profession and workplace?

9. No, he just accepted more special-interest $ than any senator in 15 years
Rather disingenuous to limit it to 'campaigns', wouldn't you agree? :eyes:

Kerry found a clever way around the rules. Don't kid yourself about it too much.

13. But he is on the take
Washington PAC's aren't the only income streams from special interests.

15. Here ya go, from unbiased sources..
""The note of reality is he has been brought to you by special interests," said Charles Lewis of the nonpartisan Center for Public Integrity, a watchdog group that has closely studied the senator's relationship with special interests. "It's very hard to utter this rhetoric without some hollowness to it."

"I think it's harder for someone like Kerry to take on" Bush over special interests "because he's taken money . . . from a lot of the same" corporate sectors, added Larry Noble, executive director of the Center for Responsive Politics, which monitors money in politics. Dean, who has raised more money than Kerry in this campaign, has taken considerably less from lobbyists. "

14. He Clearly Said He Would Not
He said he only apologized once - and that was to Edwards for mischaracterizing his Iraq stance. I seem to remember him apologizing to Graham, too, for belittling him, not to mention his Dixie apology.

I'm not going to hold my breath.

18. He diidn't apologize to Graham
He said it was inappropriate for saying it aloud, that he "shouldn't be handicapping the race." He was pretty clear that he still stood behind WHAT he said.

22. Don't hold your breath.
Dr. Dean is not the apologizing type. If it gets too hot he will say he is sorry when no one is listening and then when everyone is listening he will make the accusation again. This is his pattern.
