Do any of the other candidate's supporters realize ?
That all of the political oxygen is going to be sucked up by dean-kerry debate? I think it's gonna be a great debate!

3. Dean turned down the first challenge by Kerry, right?
I thought that was appropriate because there are others in the race. But this new challenge via Russert should probably be an option. Russert has provided a venue and a challenge. I'm glad that Dean accepted--with a smile, yet!

I only hope that it's a real debate and not some kind of punditry forum.

4. I'm looking forward to it
One of my chief complaints about Kerry is that he appears to be very wishy washy on his views. Example:

"Senator Kerry, Congressman Kucinich has said he is xyz. Would you agree with him?

Kerry's response is ALWAYS, "I'm not going to say that, because I'm not going to look the people of (said state) in the eye and lie to them."

That's it! I'm looking forward to a debate with less challengers because either Dean will bury him, or Kerry will actually state what he is FOR, not why everyone else is lying.

9. Kerry challenged Dean to a one-on-one debate earlier.
Dean originally declined, saying that there were other candidates in the race.

But today, Russert brought it up again and said that he'd provide the venue (Meet The Press).

Dean said he'd do it.
