1. that won't happen
he'll be a presidential candidate again. I think he'll be one of the leading contenders.

3. I think that Wes Clark is doing far better public service by helping
Democratic Candidates win seats in 2006. If he ran, he would have a hard time helping others win. Already as it is, he should be cloned a few times over....because many candidates want his endorsement, him to appear with them, etc....in particular, those in the Red States.....running to beat the Republican incumbents...which in my opinion is the only way that we will retake the house!

4. Clark is spending his time now helping many 2006 Dem candidates
That is his focus, not running for Congress himself, or even running for President himself. If you listened to him when he was in LA he said he would like to be President, but he knows we have to take back a house of Congress first and that is where he will put his energy. You may have noticed that Clark has been to Iowa and NH, but only once each and not recently. Mostly he has been traveling to Red leaning States and districts trying to support Democrats running there.

And if someone like Corzine or Edwards can go straight from private business to the Senate, Clark doesn't need to start out in the House. The way the House works one has to establish a fair amount of Seniority there before one has much influence there. No Senate seats in Arkansas are open right now.
