Howard Dean says Harry S Truman is his political hero
Now, I am no political strategy genius but I think Howard Dean should get on a plane and fly down to Independence, MO just for a PR trip. He could remind people of why a lot of folks have compared him to Truman. He is plain spoken and he rubs some people the wrong way. He doesn't have to spend a lot of money but Independence is in a state that Kerry is leading by a wide margin. Dean could get a lot of free press out of this and could be worth maybe 5-10 points in the polls. Independence is waiting for him. :) Are you listening Howard?
