1. Trippi is tearing down Kerry.
These soar losers need to disappear. He is railing against Kerry for taking lobby money. When he is asked about the fact that Dean's campaign manager is a lobbyist, he said it doesn't matter.

6. They asked about money.
He said they were running a 50 state campaign. He wouldn't answer a question about how much he took for himself.

7. I just caught the end of it
JW asked where all the money went. Trippi laid out a long list of things - running 50state campaign, having to defend against Dem rivals and repub ads, having to defend against mysterious ads in Iowa (the bin laden ads?) that still nobody knows who put out...mentioned Kerry "writing himself a $6 million + check to come back from the dead" and having to compete with that.

Dean earlier on MTP was blunt about this issue. (I love that about him). He said they had a strategy of winning Iowa and NH and having the big mo now, and that it obviously didn't work out that way.

I'd suggest you get the MTP transcript when its up.

:D

5. Trippi remains supportive of Dean
Saying that this is about two approaches to politics. Business-as-usual with Kerry or a movement to bring the Democratic Party back to the grassroots with Dean.

Woodruff throwing all of the "conventional wisdom questions at him, but Trippi staying with the point that the Dean campaign really is about change.
