Clark w/ some clever quips cutting Bush down to size - read :)

Clark, whose stump speech is peppered with criticisms of Bush and his stewardship of the Iraq (news - web sites) war, seemed to intensify his rhetoric Saturday.


"George W. Bush is going to run on his national security record," Clark said, "I know more about national security than George W. Bush has ever thought about, and I can hold him accountable."


Earlier, at a rally in Arizona, he slammed Bush's plan to commit millions over the next several years to the exploration of Mars.


"We've got a president in this country who really doesn't have a clue about where this country should be going," he said to loud cheers. "He redid his father's war against Saddam Hussein (news - web sites), he's redone Ronald Reagan (news - web sites)'s tax cuts for the wealthy, and now he wants to redo John Kennedy's space program."
