A Disaster a Day...
Everyday brings an unbelievable new revelation. How can people even keep count? How can the press even keep count? It's like the leader of the nation is a walking disaster. Everything he touches turns to crap. And he can't keep himself from touching something everyday. Can't he just take a day off and let the press catch up to his screwups?

2. The press keeps count?
I thought they were doing a bangup job of ignoring all this stuff, concentrating on tabloid shit while allowing middle America to think Stupid is in charge and everything is lovely in the national garden, lying by omission even if they don't lie outright.

You can't keep count of anything you don't know is there.

3. I think he has overwhelmed the nation with his incompetence...
including the press. What should they report on today? It's difficult to focus on any one issue or debacle with this Administration. They are like a bull in a china shop. They're breaking shit faster than you can pick it up.

4. W has confused...
the nation with his daily contradictions of grave warnings and optimistic assurances. The Democrats have a giant opportunity to emerge as the champion of unity, If we can only capitalize on it!

6. I was just thinking the other day that I need to start writing this
stuff down so I can keep track of what's going on. Maybe put things on a reminder calendar so I can do follow up. There are just so many of Bush's disasters out there that the latest one just sweep others out of public memory.

7. There are so many hogs at the trough they will do anything to get their
portion of swill.......... From a purely conservation effort, we should legalize the taking of these feral swine.

8. That's just what I was thinking last night! My brain is imploding w/all
the crap that is going down. Too many bad rethugs, too little time to read/remember all their crimes.

I was starting to get really depressed until yesterday when someone posted a list of links to the top news stories. Looks like the tide is turning. :)

9. Only if the media starts reporting on it.
Of course, Bush's presidency is a disaster. We can read about that in newspapers, but most people (let's face it) don't like to read. TV news is what it's all about and the RW knows that. That's why they'll read headlines and little else besides what Brittany Spears is up to lately. Info-junk is in, real news is out.

10. Pile-up in the rearview mirror
The frustrating part of this is how he walks away from each disaster.
You are correct: Everyday is a new, IMO huge, scandal. And yet, nothing sticks.
He's free to drive off from the scene of the crime merrily on his way to the next wreck.
