We're evidently handing them back the illegal wiretapping issue, per the DLC.

What's our message this election year? I know Dean's talking about a plan, but can we get the shit in gear? Now?

9. What It Ought To Be, Sir
Is rebellion against a culture of corruption and lies. Everything else, whether appealing to the most moderate or the most radical, can find firm root in that....

12. I agree with that
with the caveat that it's got to be a true message. I don't think we get to "sort of" mean it but maybe once more, then that's truly all she wrote.

15. A Pleasure To Be In Agreement With You, My Friend
With the probably not unexpected caveat that of course a political line need not be true or even truely meant to be effective....

"Sincerity is the key. When you can fake that, you've got it made."

21. likewise, sir,
with the equally expected caveat that, at least this time, it does need to be true, at least if we're interested in keeping the support of African-Americans. I watched the CSK funeral today at school surrounded by my black students and black colleagues. Let's not fake it this time.

20. I know he does. Dean is my hero.
And "we can do better" is his phrase.

I don't know why everyone is knocking it. He's used it a long time and no one called it "weak". Of course, things have gotten quite a bit uglier.

Maybe we should start saying "we couldn't do worse".

that he wants to wait to unveil it. I find that a poor idea. We need to be hitting people with the goods from now until November.

16. Put corrupt lobbyists as the POSTER BOYS for every NEOCON, Repug
candidate!!!

Tie that stinking, hypocritical, corporate backed party to the SLUDGE of DC.

Play it , and replay it, until every American tie corporate filth with the average, middle-age, smirking corporate Repug whore who wears a suit, smiles a lot and thumps the bible with one hand and pick-pockets you with the other.
