BEWARE: Wolfowitz and the Neo-cons may try to Hijack the Democrats
The Neo-cons started out as Democrats with Scoop Jackson in the 70's. They switch to the GOP with Reagan-Bush in the 80's, but Wolfowitz has apparently never switched his party affiliation. As the conservative wing of the GOP grows increasingly uncomfortable with the Neo-cons unBarry Goldwaterish approach to domestic spying, regime change, big spending etc, the Neo-cons have been known to threaten that they may ditch the Republican Party and switch back to being Democrats.

Moral: if you see or hear any Democrats or any Democrat organizations saying or doing anything that sounds an awful lot like the Neo-cons (like for instance maybe saying that we should not make a fuss about domestic wiretapping) think long and hard about who this benefits and who these people may be in bed with ideologically speaking.

Never hurts to be cautious, even with your own family.

4. You're on to them. There is no difference in objective,
just the methods employed. This is why we need a clean start.

5. May? Fait accompli my friend. See - "DLC"
But it's not too late to take it back but we have to educate our fellow democrats to the threat. The mainstream media is in the pocket of the Republicans and the DLC moles.

6. The neocons will take any vehicle to power
or to maintain power. That is what makes them so dangerous.

Gang of 6 to 14 ....you are on notice. Our party is dust if you don't decide which side of the aisle you want to stand with.

9. For real! Because the Neo-cons "people are expendible" methods
Edited on Tue Feb-07-06 01:20 PM by McCamy Taylor
are not consistent with Democratic Party philosophy which is that this is a party of PEOPLE first. And I hate the fact that even the "ideolistic" Neo-cons who think that they are spreading democracy and ending terrorism have allowed themselves to get into bed with a bunch of anti-Muslim genocidal loons who want to wipe Islam from the face of the earth and put Mid-East oil in the hands of Europeans and Americans as if God wanted it that way.

Wolfowitz is too much like a characature of everyone's nightmare mathematician--the guy who will do things that seem sensible on an intellectual level but are absolutely barbaric on a moral level just because they accomplish a result.

13. Aren't there several former Republicans
now in the DLC? Marshall Wittman is one. See the article in The Huffington Post by David Sirota,"Why the DLC is so dangerous to Democrats".

This is what the former right-winger, now supposedly a Democrat has to say about Bush's illegal wiretapping...

"There is absolutely no evidence that was attempting to do anything else but protect America...We can have a reasoned debate about this issue without impugning the motives of a Commander in Chief who was attempting to defend the nation."

htttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-sirota/why-the-dlc-is-so-dangero_b_13640.html

I've read articles where DLCers were quoted, and sounded more conservative than Republicans. I think a lot of them do sound a lot like neocons. Do we really need people like this speaking for the Democratic Party?
