List the State Or City You Live In? And who you are for?
Edited on Sat Jan-31-04 09:47 PM by Quixote1818
I am just curious of the demographics of DU posters? Does it look like the Al Gore 2000 map or is anyone from rural towns in Alabama and Montana?

74. Not from Gig Harbour (affectionately known as Never, Never Land )...
but Key Penninsula where nobody supports Bush and nobody watches cable exceptin' the "outsiders" 'cause you have to split four cords of wood to afford it; ain"t worth it!

We's not dumb like the "others"...we're just too lazy and prefer someone who can think for us...maybe Wes or DK.

ooops Maybe we are as dumb as Iowa and oughta split four cords of wood and watch TV so we know who to vote for...

Tiny hamlet of White Hall at the base of the Blue Ridge Mts. This is gun-rack-in-the-pickup-truck and bowhunters-for-bear country.

Clinton was one of those divisive figures. I definitely am not a Clinton-hater. I have said many times that I was tired of him being our governor and I was less that enthusiastic about his running for POTUS. But, after he won, then I liked him as President okay.

Oak Park is just east of Thousand Oaks. Oak Park is one of the few areas in Ventura County that Gore won. Even though it's a good 12 miles to the LA City line and at least 30 to the city center -- it's considered a burb in Southern California.

117. Hey, I'm in Oak Park too....
I'm shocked that there's another Oak Park DUer. Not a lot of political activism around here.

I'm planning on voting for Dennis on principle in the primary.

In November I'll vote for anyone with a D after their name.

I whole-heartedly support the reelection of Democratic Governor Joe Kernan, and Democratic Congresswoman Julia Carson.

I won't support DINO, pro-PATRIOT Act, and pro-war Evan Bayh! He won't get my vote!

The May Indiana primary is too late. I may cast a protest vote against the presumptive nominee if that nominee voted for the war.

Wesley Clark.

I think we have a little different experience of American life here in Berkeley. I never meet any George Bush supporters in person. There are more Greens than Republicans.

126. Santa Barbara, CA: Working for Dean/Anybody But Bush
And I refuse to listen to fellow Dems/Greens/Progressives who want to badmouth Democratic candidates. My mantra for the past year has been: " "The ovearching goal is to vote Bush out of office. Not one of our Democratic candidates would have done the evil in office that Bush-Cheney Inc have done every single day." I'll start criticizing the Democratic candidate only after he's sworn in as president.

I have my favorites among the candidates, as do we all, but I will support whoever can evict the "squatter-in-chief" from the White House this November. We need to save this country. Period.:grr:
