At It Again
Bob Schefier of CBS Nightly News just claimed that Bush is talking up using alternative fuels. This is even after Bush's Secretary of Energy said that Bush did not literally mean that he wanted to reduce the amount of imported Middle East oil by 75% by 2025. I know that pushing the use of alternative fuels is at least somewhat different than reducing Middle Eastern oil imports, but if he does not really want to reduce Middle Eastern oil imports how is he going to push alternative fuels. I just wish the media would point out that Bush has already begun to back away from the things he said in his speech.
