Did you know there was no spying prior to 9-11?

Listening to the garbage coming from the criminals in the white house we could have prevented 9-11 if only we could have spied on the enemy. So apparently we had no way of spying on Al-Quaeda or Bin-Laden before then. So where did that 6 August 2001 memo to the president come from which said, in so many words, yo moron a terrorist is fixing to hit America big time. And some say our hate is irrational.

Let's see, if I can summarize their position:

1. Pre-9/11, there was no 9/11, so who could expect a 9/11, right?

2. Oh? You know about those warnings. Well, smokers still smoke, right? Even though smoking is known to the state of California to cause cancer. Can you blame Bush for continuing to be incompetent, even if its known to the denizens of DU to cause death?

3. Spying is hard work. Hard works, I tells ya. Now that we're post 9/11, we need post 9/11 spying.
