Francine Busby gaining momentum!

Many of us are already Francine fanatics, but if you don't know who she is - in a nutshell, she is running to replace Duke Cunningham in the special election for California's Congressional District 50.

It's a district that normally tilts Republican, but the scandal that consumed Cunningham may well propel Busby into Congress.

The special election is to be held on April 11, a little more than two months away.

Recent polling shows that Francine has a very good shot at getting the 50% + 1 vote she needs to avoid a run-off.

This election will garner extraordinary national attention and may well be considered a bellwether for what is to come in the fall.

Francine is terrific. Here is her website for those of you who are not yet familiar with her.

Let's send a fighting mom to Congress!
